What is devotional printing at Arunam

Devotional fabric printing, in plain terms.

Devotional printing at Arunam covers both reactive printing on natural fibres (cotton dhoti, silk angavastram, cotton temple cloth) and sublimation on polyester (festival banners, procession backdrops, polyester-blend ceremonial fabric). The fabric you choose determines the process. Reactive gives soft hand-feel and survives the wash cycles that ceremonial cotton goes through; sublimation gives bright, weather-resistant colour for outdoor festival material. Customer supplies fabric and design — we run the right process for your tradition.

Why Temple Trusts Choose Us

What our regular devotional customers tell us.

Festival cycles repeat every year. Trusts and contractors come back because the cotton hand-feel is right, the deity images are sharp, and the schedule meets the muhurtham.

🧵
01

Cotton hand-feel preserved

Reactive printing bonds dye into natural fibre — no surface coating, no plastic feel. Temple cotton stays as cotton, dhoti drapes naturally, angavastram remains soft.

🎨
02

Deity images print sharp

1440 dpi resolution captures deity-portrait fidelity at any size. Photo-quality colour reproduction across cotton, silk, and polyester.

📿
03

Mantra typography accurate

Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada religious typography reproduced cleanly — diacritics and conjunct consonants intact across the print.

04

Festival-pace turnaround

Same-day sublimation strike-off, 1–2 day reactive sample. Bulk runs aligned to festival muhurtham — we work back from your event date.

📞
05

Direct line to the founder

Trust managers and contractors speak to the people running the floor. Last-minute design changes for unplanned events handled directly.

📋
06

GST-compliant invoicing, AEPC-recognised firm

GST invoice raised against GSTIN 33ABBFA6797L1Z1. AEPC Manufacturer Exporter recognition (RMRC 207828) and GOTS certification on file.

Before You Send

Devotional artwork & fabric preparation.

Deity images and religious typography demand precision. Fabric choice determines the print line.

📐

Send file at 300 dpi for deity images

Deity portraits and high-detail religious art need 300 dpi at print size. Vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) preferred for sharp typography. Lower resolution shows pixelation when blown up.

🔤

Embed religious typography fonts

Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada fonts: convert to outlines or embed in PDF. Stops accidental font substitution — important for mantra accuracy.

⚠️

Confirm fabric fibre before despatch

Cotton/silk goes to reactive; polyester goes to sublimation. Mixed-fibre fabrics need confirmation — sublimation needs ≥80% polyester, reactive prefers 100% natural.

🚫

No softener or chemical finish

Surface coatings prevent dye penetration on both lines. Send fabric in raw or scoured state without softener, silicone, or oil-based finish.

Not sure which line your fabric needs? Send your design and fabric details on WhatsApp — we'll route it correctly before bulk despatch.

FAQs

Devotional printing — common questions.

Temple altar cloth, pooja sets, festival banners, deity image fabric, mantra and slokam print fabric, dhoti and angavastram, ceremonial sashes, prasadam wrap fabric, temple-procession banners, festival rally backdrops, and event-temple decoration fabric. Both natural-fibre and polyester variants.

Yes. We print on cotton dhoti, silk dhoti, cotton angavastram, and ceremonial cotton fabric using reactive printing on our MS JP7 line. The dye bonds covalently with natural fibres for soft hand-feel and excellent wash fastness — important for fabric that goes through repeated festival use.

Yes. Both reactive and sublimation lines support high-resolution photo-quality deity image printing. For best results, send vector or 300 dpi raster files. We confirm colour fidelity and detail at strike-off sample stage before bulk.

Same-day strike-off samples on most designs. Bulk turnaround typically 3 to 7 days for reactive (cotton/silk) and 3 to 5 days for sublimation (polyester banners). Festival timing is tight — confirm timeline on WhatsApp before commitment.

Yes. We work with temple trusts directly, with religious-event contractors, with festival decoration vendors, and with devotional-merchandise sellers. GST invoice raised for every order.

We are a pure job-work printer — we do not sell fabric or stitched ceremonial items. You supply cotton, silk, or polyester fabric and the design, we handle reactive or sublimation printing. Customer handles cutting, stitching, and binding.
