Backdrop and event fabric printing at Arunam is sublimation printing on polyester banner fabric — for stage backdrops, exhibition stalls, conference banners, wedding decor, trade-show booths, photography backdrops, and step-and-repeat boards. Single panels print up to 70 inches / 1800 mm; larger backdrops are panel-stitched at the customer's end with our colour-matched panels. The dye bonds permanently into the polyester, so backdrops survive transport, setup, and reuse across multiple events. We run on the Mimaki TS100 with in-house roll fusing.

Large-format work magnifies file weakness. Get the resolution and polyester right.
150 dpi minimum at print size
For 8-foot backdrops, files must be 150 dpi at the actual print size — typically 1800 px wide minimum for a single panel. Vector files preferred for logos and typography.
Lock brand Pantone references
Send Pantone or hex codes for brand and event-theme colours. Critical for cross-panel colour consistency on large backdrops.
Polyester content matters
Sublimation works fully only on fabrics with at least 80 percent polyester. Cotton-rich fabric produces dull backdrops. Confirm fabric spec before despatch.
No softener or finishing chemicals
Surface coatings act as a barrier. Send fabric without softener, silicone, or oil-based finish for full dye penetration.
